Hashel plays banjo, guitar, and does some lead vocals for THE BLUEGRASS FRIENDS. He has two recordings available and has more projects in the works. He is working on a project that will be all banjo and guitar instrumentals. Hashel is retired from teaching math in the Texas school systems and from private business. He is married to Marlene and has two girls and a boy. They are the proud Granny and Pops to three grand, Grandkids. They make their home in Italy, Texas and travel extensively nationwide. Being a Christian and carrying the testimony of CHRIST in their lives is the driving force that makes this a personal ministry of this family. The singing of Bluegrass Gospel Songs is a fine way to teach the Saving Grace of JESUS CHRIST to a needy world.
